Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) is a group of complex and often progressive lung disorders that affect the tissues surrounding the air sacs (alveoli). Over time, these conditions can lead to scarring (fibrosis) of the lungs, making it difficult for oxygen to enter the bloodstream and causing breathing problems.
