The CISSP certification demonstrates the holder's professional experience and skills in several areas of computer and network security. The domains of knowledge covered by the CISSP Certification include: security and risk management, asset security, security architecture and design, security operations, communications and network security, access control and identity management, software development security, and testing and auditing of security controls. Candidates for the CISSP must possess at least 5 years of cumulative paid all-time experience in two or more of the CISSP domains.
