Dr. Caroline Blackley offers free child safety workshops to change that - grounded in evidence and designed to build real capability in the people closest to children every day.

The free child safety workshops run at schools and community venues across Queensland, with scheduled sessions from Cairns to Ipswich, Rockhampton, and Warwick. Each session runs for approximately 90 minutes and is open to teachers, school staff, and community members who work with children. Dates and venues include Djarragun College, Kirwan SHS, North Rockhampton SHS, Warwick West SS, Broadwater SS, Ipswich SHS, Denison SS, and Forest Lake SHS, with more confirmed each term.

The CGS workshop series is funded by the Queensland Family and Child Commission, giving participating schools and communities access to quality child safety training at no cost. A free short course accompanies the in-person sessions and becomes available to registered participants immediately, with broader access opening in Term 3. Participants from partnership schools already have access in Term 2.

Dr. Caroline Blackley works with teachers, schools, and communities across Queensland, with services extending to professional development, school scans, and membership resources. Participants who attend the CGS workshop gain access to the online short course, supporting continued learning beyond the session itself. The workshops are held at accessible school venues during school hours and after school, making it practical for teaching staff to attend without disrupting their day.
